Elke Aerts

Elke specializes in general corporate law, corporate governance, and insolvency. Her specialized expertise in these areas enables her to efficiently and proactively assist and advise companies, shareholders, and directors. She also acts as a liquidator and is regularly appointed as a trustee by the Antwerp Commercial Court.

Elke graduated from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel with a law degree and also earned a degree in notarial practice. After working for five years at a law firm in Antwerp, she earned a Master of Applied Law from the University of Queensland (AU) and worked as a solicitor at Sajen Legal (Mooloolaba, AU) until 2007. In 2007, she joined the law firm Mattijs, Voet & Co in Lier. She has been part of our team since July 2021.
